The Western Melbourne region, particularly Wyndham City, witnessed massive population growth over the last 15 years. Wyndham City administers 30 existing sporting reserves to 80+ Clubs, which provide a great variety of sport and recreation pursuits to the Wyndham community.  As the population grows, the number of cricket grounds and clubs will continue to grow. The need for all-weather elite training facilities in the Wyndham area is more significant than ever before.

Opened in April 2021, Elite Cricket Academy and Sports Gear Pty Ltd (ECA) is the first Integrated Elite Indoor cricket training facility in the western Melbourne region equipped with experienced and qualified coaches, a High-Performance centre, video analysis, the latest bowling machines and much more giving a fully rounded training experience. The cricket lanes are 38m in length and provide a complete run-up experience for bowlers of all types.

At the academy, we offer one-on-one cricket coaching, Kids group training, a school holiday program, a fully equipped high-performance centre. Indoor nets hire, Bowling machine hires, preseason training for clubs, an onsite cricket store, activities for kids and a one-stop-shop for everything cricket.

The availability of modern synthetic turf wickets developed and installed to suit different types of bowlers (spin, pace) to give our players a real pitch experience. Our indoor sports facility will also be fully air-conditioned to ensure that our customers enjoy convenience when using our facility.

Our aim at achieving our vision and objectives has led us to focus on sourcing the best coaching and support staff and equipment. Our employees will not only be well trained and undergo continuous training, but they will also have their performances continually appraised. ECA’s programs are structured and continuously evolving to adapt to the changing dynamics of the game.
